Read the news this morning and was shock to learn abt it...
Former opposition leader, Mr. JB Jeyaretnam had passed away due to heart failure.
He died at the age of 82.

I used to see him in town promoting his books and it is very sellable I tell u.
I am working at that time and he wld promote his books in front of my stall.
I din have the courage to approach him but ppl came to buy his books with even asking for his signature.
Till today, I have not read any of his books...maybe shld do so soon.
He wld stood for hours promoting his books till it finish.
Looking at him just reminds me of my late grandfather.

What ever it is...
May his soul rest in peace.
The lost of another leader to the country.

Yay!!! Raya is coming in a two days only.

Busy with all the tidy up in the house.

Send mum to Geylang yesterday and it was damn packed...

Alot of people came to do their market shopping there.

The frustrating part is that, the male also accompany to follow their wives in the market making it even more packed.

Some even with kids tagging along in which they could have ask any of the family members to look after the kids while they went in to buy all their groceries.

I had to park at Singpost carpark as the normal carpark is crowded and also dun want to waste time waiting for parking lots.

Din take long for us to complete our shopping and decided to head home as the section for buying beef is having a super long queue than normal.

Then mum decide to go to the market at kovan instead to buy the beef and so send her home.

We initially complete all shopping by 11am and then head home.

Send mum home before heading back to my own place.

Its cleaning time and do all the necessary things.

Thought of buying food for break fast but mum ask to go and take the food she had cooked.

She make Roti kirai.......moi fav!!!

After breakfast, we (me, aniq & asrul) headed to Geylang and so lucky we manage to get a parking lot there but at a high floor.

Hubby needs to send his specs for repair and he wants to get another pair for himself.

After which, we walked ard for a while before headed home.

Tiring day for me and today, shall be the final touch up to the house.

Wld be on half day tomorrow!

As mentioned in my previous blog, me and hub invited his family over for break fast that Saturday.
I have planned wat to cook a week before the actual day and had went to get the ingredients 2 days before and even at the last minute before I went home from work.
Lets see....what did I cook that day.
I cook :
- nasi ayam hainanese
- Tom Yum seafood
- ayam bakar (wif my own secret sauce)
- Chap Chai
- home made chilli for the nasi ayam.

It makes me very nervous as it is my first time letting his family taste my own cooking.

And the time comes when, its time to breakfast...

And............I got praised for my cooking. Yay...
Praised frm both my sis-in-laws and my mum-in-law as well.
And even hubby, too...........
Yay...*pat on the back*
*grin*

oh yar...and..and..my soon to be sis-in-law also came for the iftar which is a surprise to everyone.Hahaha....
Frm what we noe, she is not allowed to go for any gathering held by our sides, as a condition frm the mum.
Its a blessing I must say that she turn up...but not for long as bro-in-law had to work so he need to send her home first before going to work.

And..and..my sis-in-law maid helps me to wash the dishes. Really...saves my day.

Haha...It turn out really well and I am looking forward for a house-opening during Raya mth where I wld be doing the cooking myself.
And I can guarantee that it wld turn very delicious.......................:)

Oh....just smting to share with you especially all my cuzzins and gf.

I have a multiply accounts and each time i log in, we will be presented with the inbox first.
Someone's blog entry really caught my attention and I decided to read them.

And so i read both the entry and I must say...I have to be wary again.
Whoever this b**** is, I may not know but I just have to be xtra careful.

I really hate all this messed up that had been created.
I tot that things are already well planned and that it would go smoothly.
Though u spoke bad abt me...but i still forgive you for the reason wanting things to get done.
U promised and promised and each time, u broke it.

As for me, I am being caught in the middle having to resolve both sides and compromising with both of you.
But what do i gain in return?
When u promise for the last time that it would go smoothly, i am more than thrilled to hear it.
But who wld have guess, its all messed up again.
To you, its a small matter but for me, i have put in effort to liase with the two of you and this is what i get in return.
You are giving me another hard time and neither of you are willing to give and take.
Yes you drag too long to the extend that it gets on evryboy's nerve and even hers.
I can still tolerate while I can but for how long.

Can you pls get it done once and for all with the schedule and request given to you.
If not, all my effort wld have gone down the drain, pleading and smooth talking her all this while.
I am tired playing the goody-two shoes for the both of you.
Showing my true colours in not my niche and dun make me do it.
It will only lead to disastrous than resolvement.

There is a limit to my frustration and how i wished that I am not involve in this in the first plc.
But......wer can i hide as its part and parcel of my work and its so unfortunate that this had to happen.
JUST GET THE WORK DONE BEFORE IT BECOMES WORST.
You purposely doing it again and again due to the hatred to have on her.
I Am the VICTIM here and not both of u!

Its really frustrating when u try ur best to coordinate all the works but in the end, it will just get messed up, not due to my coodination but due to the people who refuse to cooperate.
I am tired of all this!
Pls end it soon so as I will not have any nightmares every nite.

With raya round the corner, my house is half way done and my furniture is schedule for delivery this wkend.

Hubby make appointment with the rest of his siblings to iftar at my place and I have to cook. Gosh! What shall i cook yar....

Nothing really much happen during the wk except for the unexpected food poisoning which i experience yesterday. Thanks to the kupang which I ate that caused me all this unpleasant stomach pain to the core. No choice but to throw in mc...dammit...

My beloved uncle SMS-ed me yesterday informing that he is now in Medina doing prayers thru out and only had an average of 5hrs to sleep. POOR HIM! He is expected to proceed to Makkah soon and I pray that he is well all the way thru his Umrah! Missssssssss himmmm!

Jaja request for recipe to her fave kueh. Its choco in aluminium cup (dats wat we called it). So had to call mum as I am not to sure of the recipe after which I have to email that bimbo...oops..Jaja the recipe and the method. Muahaha... Don forget my share of it yar.

Nothing much else really happen and so my blog wld end here. Lame rite (as wat iqah love to say)..hehe..

And..oH oh oh....bad news...hubby have to work on the day of RAYA. *sobz**sobz*. He is on the night shift and so we had to really plan our journey. Poor him...not a good day for raya since he had to work.

Today break fast at my aunt plc in Yishun. A gathering before my uncle fly to Umrah tomorrow for the rest of the remaining Ramadhan days. He would be going with his other stewards frens...

The thought of him going there really thrilled me...at times I would call him and tease him abt it. Imagine him going to Umrah...and then back frm there, he might have to so-called transform himself. No more bermudas, shorts, sleeveless t-shirts...haha...

I would also remind him to buy back some sourvenirs back home. And his reply would be
" Ko fikir aku ni pegi holiday eh. Aku pegi Umrah tau. So my bag would be small instead of my luggage bag." Muahaha..........

But then, he reminded me to bring along his sunglass to the gathering today. So i told him it would be useless to wear the sunglass there since it would be crowded and everyone is doing the prayers practically every minute of it. He reply
"Mana tau kan...aku jumpa artis pat sana...bole la aku posing ngan dorang smua"
So is that going Umrah or holiday????????

How am I gonna missssssss him sssssssooooo much. He is my fave uncle and that I am his fave niece among all.

Wateva it is, hope he is fully well to complete him Umrah.

Firstly, apology to my cuzzins for the last min cancellation for the iftar this Friday. Last min decision for a meeting in the estate that day. Evening as usual.

Sorry Gals...will try to arrange another day or so.

Went to break fast outside yesterday with hubby and son. Just the 3 of us...

We went to New Hawa Restaurant opposite Joo Chiat Complex. It was not crowded when we reach there and with some table already with ttheir food arrived. When we reach there it was already near to 7pm.

We ordered our food which is simple dishes, and nothing extravaganza...we ordered our hot teas and a cup of chocolate shake.

Like i said above, it was not crowded, ok. By the time to break fast, our drinks had not arrived yet nor our food.

We waited for another 5 mins for at least the drinks. Still no sign and not only my table, but the one next to me, too. Their foods had arrived but not the drinks.

It was only around 7.20 that our drinks arrived. By then we are already so pissed off. We waited for our foods and it only arrived at 7.50pm. WOW! That long wait rite.

We have to check with them several times and each time our food had yet to be cooked. We are already feeling half full after the drinks which is nearly finished and the cheese fries which we had ordered previously.

Poor service I can tell you. Not a good experience for me. Its not crowded and they seems not to be able to cope...and how abt wkends when the crowds come in...what will happen then? GOSH. That will the last time I am having my food there.

And oh ya...when hubby's food came, they did not give us any spoon and fork and so we waited since the lady who deliver the food realise that we don have the utensils. No sign of it after nearly 10mins.

I walked over to their counter and self service them myself with the annoying look to them in which they suddenly realise. WTF!!!!!

Their service is so so POOR. I dun recommend anybody there during this fasting month!

Its the 6th day of fasting. Sure time goes fast without us realising it. As usual its a Saturday and its my half day of work..Yay!

Yesterday din do much. Had to take urgent leave as I over-slept! Can u believe it ppl! Hahaha... and so...luckily hubby not working ytdy. So we both kind of clean up the place and assemble the things which had been bought earlier.

Then we break fast outside with Sharil and family. Plan to break fast at mother-in-law plc but we somehow have a change of plan. We went to Jalan Kayu Thohirah Restaurant...and so fortunate, its not crowded.

After dinner, we headed to Geylang and its my 3rd time there...haha...for the week. Din manage to get my baju kurung but then again..Its always ANIQ who is the lucky one. Got him another pair of baju kurung and a white sampin for him to wear on the first day. To match with hubby of course.

We walk ard and its crowded cos its a FRIDAY. After tired of walking which initially to the extend that Aniq fall asleep in his stroller in which it is already his bedtime...we headed home. Reach home to nearly 12 midnite which i have to cook rice for Sahur.

And yes...i cook for sahur ok..*grin* *smile*. Though its only two of us...but i believe in cooking sumtimes....but canned food..hahaha... However, hubby appreciate my effort and cooking, ok!

Today, hubby working morning shift and so buka at mummy plc. Wonder what to cook as I have to either do the cooking or have to help out with the cooking...

Oh ya...I got to view my good-fren, Nor, wedding photo which she upload as private photos. She is gorgeous with the mak andam from Chinta Wedding...one ting i realise in common is that..nowadays their pelamin confirm ader those fury feathers...y ah???? Its the trend ah.
Nway..like I said, she look gorgeous that day.
